Progress Updates - December 2024

Students from St. Michael School had the opportunity to speak with students from the Chesterton Academy of Orlando about their experience at a classical, Catholic school.

Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School Information Session: Board representatives will hold an information session for families at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School this Thursday, December 5, at 6:00 p.m.

St. Wendelin Catholic Parish Information & Fellowship Session: Board representatives will be hosting the fellowship time following the 11:00 a.m. Mass this Sunday, December 8. They will also be offering an information session during that time.

2026 Parent Initiative: A group of parents who have students in St. Michael School's 7th grade have expressed their desire for St. Michael the Archangel Chesterton Academy to open in time for their children in 2026. Currently, the Board's discernment has focused on a potential start date of 2028. Given the energy and enthusiasm of these families, Fr. Adam and the Board have told them that if they can recruit a sufficient number of interested students, then the Board will adjust its discernment model to consider a 2026 launch date. The Board has given these families deadline of March 5, 2025 to recruit interested families.
