Progress Updates - April 2025

Fr. Adam and Rob Spicer met with Bishop Thomas on March 26 to present Chesterton Academy. Bishop Thomas expressed his enthusiasm and support for our efforts thus far. He will be meeting with his team in the coming days to discuss our proposal in more detail and to make his decision as to whether we can move forward with Chesterton Academy.

The leadership team continues to assemble the information desired by the Diocese before the Bishop can make his decision about the new high school. We will not move forward with opening the high school until the Bishop grants his blessing and approval. We hope to meet with him sometime in March / April to present our official proposal.

The Diocese has provided us with an outline of the required process to be followed in order to have our Chesterton Academy formally recognized and blessed by the Bishop. We are grateful for the clarity the Diocese has provided, and for the Chesterton Schools Network which is helping us as we seek to complete the necessary steps.
