Welcome to the Team, Mrs. Maricella Kahle

Background:

My name is Maricella Kahle, I graduated from BGSU with a degree in inclusive early childhood education. This gave me a dual license as an intervention specialist and general education teacher. My first year teaching was at Tiffin Calvert and I have most recently been teaching at St. Michael's in Findlay for the past 8 years. I have worked only in Catholic Education as a second grade teacher. Teaching about and preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion have been some of the most treasured memories I have in my teaching experience. It has been a blessing and gift to watch students receive these sacraments for the very first time.

I was raised in Findlay, am a cradle Catholic, and a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. I attended Findlay City Schools and was very active in the sports community, where I played volleyball and soccer throughout my educational experience. I have also coached volleyball, most recently for the past 3 years at St. Michael's for the junior high team. I still greatly enjoy playing sports when I have some free time. I currently live in Findlay with my husband, who also works in Catholic Education at Lima Central Catholic High School. We have two dogs named Merry and Pippin and are expecting our first child in February, by the grace of God!

I am passionate about Catholicism and the traditional beauty that can only be found in the Catholic faith. I am very excited to be part of building this new school where students can continually grow into saints by finding the answers that only Jesus can give, in a place that teaches them to live in this world and not be of this world.
